G Suite Legacy Free Edition

Link Google has added information on retaining the free edition, limits it to personal use.

Sounds good. I’ve enabled it for now, but I think I’ll eventually migrate to AWS’ WorkMail or Fastmail.

You can continue using your custom domain with Gmail, retain access to no-cost Google services such as Google Drive and Google Meet, and keep your purchases and data.

A clearly missed opportunity seems to be bridging Swift concurrency and Combine’s Futures, similar to Promises from Javascript.

A Fun Exercise

A fun exercise during this migration was to create a async delegate for UIDocumentPickerController to return the selected URLs or throw an error based on the delegate methods invoked.
