April, 2026

I said I would journal quarterly in my March post, but I can no longer contain my excitement for writing here.

This April has been perhaps one of my busiest in recent memory. A new financial year beginning, a new quarter, and to add to this work, I accepted new contract work, as well as was invited to be a guest facilitator for Apple’s Super Charge 2026 event at MIT World Peace University in Pune.

Through this event, I got the opportunity to introduce Swift Pune to the faculty at MIT-WPU, and they are excited to have us visit their campus and interact with the students there at their iOS Development Center on a regular basis. This is a new avenue for every one of us at Swift Pune, and we are very excited for this. It also prompted us to think about developing a Student Outreach Program framework, and the very first occurrence of that happened shortly after at Vishvakarma University in Pune.

Although this was much smaller in scale compared to the Super Charge event, it gave Abhishek (my colleague and co-organizer of Swift Pune) and I a tremendous learning opportunity. We also got excellent feedback from the student organizers as well as the faculty there which is going to help us shape the SOP framework. We’re looking forward to connecting with more colleges and universities, looking to coordinate and collaborate with Swift Pune on similar events.

And how can any post of mine be without any food photos, eh 😉
